The Global Learning Accelerator (GLA) provides learning and connection outcomes to economically and geographically disadvantaged students to help them identify where their passions intersect opportunity. GLA accomplishes this outcome through its program, Project AccelerUs, which executes authentic project-based learning built around interactive problem-solving challenges delivered anytime and everywhere through its no-cost, virtual platform.
Through Project AccelerUs, students pursue challenges related to their personal passions and seek real-world solutions to those challenges. Students learn innovation methodologies that integrate the beginner’s mind, the knowledge of practicing formally trained professionals, the diversity of the crowd, and the proven problem solving methodology of Strategic Foresight/Vision-Led Innovation. Students are left with new tools, skill sets, and mindsets that benefit them for life when facing the hard, everyday challenges in their communities and world.
