Odyssey of the Mind

Odyssey of the Mind (OM) in an international, creative problem-solving program where teams of young people (K-12 and university) work together to solve an innovative challenge. Teams spend weeks-to-months writing, designing, constructing, and performing a solution that may involve building a robot, reimagining a Shakespearean play, building a vehicle that completes tasks, and more. For nearly 50 years, OM has helped students learn how to think creatively, work as a team, and solve problems while also developing communication and presentation skills. In addition to the focal problem, teams also solve a Spontaneous problem provided on the day of competition, which helps develop students' quick-thinking skills. Beloved by teachers, superintendents, parents, and young people around the world, OM is an affordable, comprehensive, and inclusive solution for schools and communities hoping to instill creativity and innovation in their students while also having an incredibly fun time!
