This presentation focuses on famous gifted LGBTQ+ people who have existed as long as humanity itself — those who have made historical contributions even in the face of societal discrimination. Gifted LGBTQ+ people have done incredible things, yet they are often overlooked or painted with a brush that ignores who they loved and how they identified.
Learning Objectives:
This presentation will describe how to explain and introduce LGBTQ+ topics to gifted children.
Participants will be introduced to famous gifted LGBTQ+ people.
This presentation will assist parents and educators in introducing some of history’s most prominent gifted LGBTQ+ figures and their lasting impacts.
