This session explores the results of a mixed-methods research study conducted with secondary school counselors regarding their training and self-efficacy in facilitating the college and career counseling of High-ability Visual Artists (HAVAs). Guidelines and strategies for meeting the college and career counseling needs of HAVAs, as well as talent development techniques, are provided.
