This presentation summarizes emerging research on creative coursework from samples of undergraduates, faculty, and alumni. Results show that for current students, exposure to creative coursework is related to numerous aspects of engagement, while for alumni it predicts institutional, career, and community involvement outcomes. For faculty, there are connections between emphasizing creative coursework and other positive approaches to teaching and learning.
