When a child is diagnosed with one or more disabilities and demonstrates potential for high achievement, parents may be overwhelmed and under-informed about how to best support them. Sharing a list of vetted resources, the presenters enable parents to procure appropriate diagnoses, successfully implement consistent supports in the home, and effectively advocate for a strengths-based, talent-focused environment at school.
