This session shares the newly-revised Initial Practice-Based Professional Preparation Standards for Gifted Educators (K-12). The presenters compare this revision with the 2013 NAGC/CEC standards, the revision process, and the research base. Presenters and participants describe ways that they have used the professional preparation standards for program development, professional learning, and advocacy.
