In this session, we explore innovative space-saving and sustainable solutions to urban expansion for diverse communities around the world. Get project resources and see examples of real student work. Leave the session with everything you need for your students to design their own tiny home town.

Learning Objectives:

  • Integrate hands-on STEM projects with the arts, specifically focusing on culture, community, and diversity
  • Conduct the "Tiny House Challenge with Cultural Connections" project in their class or implement it in their program.
  • Learn how to integrate community-centered design into projects they are already doing to create more authentic and engaging learning experiences for all learners.
