Curiosity and creativity have been identified as key elements for effective leadership in the workforce. Educational programming, including honors programs, needs to be reflective of a variety of skills and dispositions, including curiosity and creativity, that help students succeed as they enter the workforce. This qualitative study examined Black HBCU students' self-perceptions of curiosity and creativity.
