By learning from the experiences of Black college students, graduate students, and recent graduates who were identified as gifted during their K-12 years, this qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews offered a greater understanding of the impact the gifted label has had on gifted students of color, adding to the knowledge of Racial Battle Fatigue in this population.
