CRISPA is a research-based framework that integrates the themes of Connections, Risk-Taking, Imagination, Sensory Experience, Perceptivity, and Active Engagement into planning and teaching with the intention of promoting artistic ways of knowing. The purpose of this session is to introduce participants to this framework and discuss how it can benefit gifted and talented learners.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to describe the CRISPA framework and how it can be used to promote artistic ways of knowing with gifted and talented learners.
Participants will evaluate two lessons using the CRISPA framework.
Participants will learn how to design lessons for gifted and talented learners using the CRISPA framework.
