Academic acceleration is a highly effective intervention for challenging academically-talented students. Academic acceleration has been studied with typical students demonstrating high cognitive ability, but less is known about acceleration and Twice-Exceptional (2e) students. This study explores the likelihood if a 2e student was whole-grade or subject-based accelerated and whether there are differences across diagnoses or other demographic characteristics.
