Raising Twice-Exceptional (2e) children and adolescents can be challenging for parents due to the unique intersection of their abilities and challenges. This presentation offers information to help parents understand their children's seemingly paradoxical needs, inform interventions at home and school, and support advocacy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will be able to describe how the needs of 2e students are complicated by the intersection of their talents and disabilities.
  • Attendees will be able to identify their 2e children's needs and advocate for their 2e children at school.
  • Attendees will be able to support their 2e child more effectively at home.
