“Don’t Say Gay” legislation censors teachers, bans books from school libraries, and prohibits classroom discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity. This limits educators and is detrimental to gifted LGBTQ+ students who already face discrimination and marginalization. This panel of gifted students and local LGBTQ+ organizations discusses the effects of this legislation and what has been done in response.
