Pop culture can provide a plethora of affirming messages and build community. Learning Objectives:
Participants will acquire an evidence-based understanding of the social-emotional needs of students who are gifted and LGBTQ+.
Participants will learn about a successful, evidence-based framework for using relevant social-emotional lessons based on student interests.
Participants will obtain applicable advice for replicating these social-emotional and responsive lessons.
