Thinkapalooza: Day of Creativity (Poster 63)

Thinkapalooza is an annual, school-wide event that promotes creativity and divergent thinking. This event is put together by gifted facilitators to uncover potential gifted students. Classes participate in creative challenges that make them think in unique ways. This session shows how the day is planned, organized, and executed so it can be duplicated in your own school or district.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will understand the necessary tools to create their own Thinkapalooza (Day of Creativity).
  • Attendees will be able to describe the need for a Thinkapalooza in their district or on their campus.
  • Attendees will be able to define Thinkapalooza.
