How do we prepare students for careers that do not yet exist as we rocket through the technology explosion of our time? By leveraging today’s technology to develop skills, access otherwise inaccessible environments, and strengthen creative thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities! Participants learn best-practice strategies for integrating technology tools to prepare our gifted learners for the future.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will be able to experience technology that can support student learning, including microcomputing, Virtual Reality, and circuitry.
Attendees will learn about and access resources that can support technology integration and the planning of learning experiences for gifted students.
Attendees will learn about utilizing the SAMR model to evaluate current and future technology usage in the classroom.
