The quality of student questions drives the research process. This session focuses on teaching students the following important processes leading to the formulation of complex, open-ended questions: (a) selecting a topic, (b) organizing knowledge for in-depth investigations, and (c) formulating questions. Participants actively engage in learning activities they might use in their classrooms to develop students’ expertise in asking questions.
