There is increased understanding of the importance of creativity in education for both the individual and society. To nurture creativity in the classroom, we must approach education from a strengths-based perspective. This is especially beneficial for gifted students with ADHD. In this session, we explore practical applications for building classroom environments that nurture creative development for these Twice-Exceptional students.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will gain an understanding of research related to creativity in gifted students with ADHD
Participants will examine principles of strengths-based learning
Participants will learn strategies and techniques to integrate and assess the creative process in the learning environment
