Gifted and talented students face unique social-emotional challenges. They may feel isolated, misunderstood, or pressured to perform at a high level. This can lead to anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. This panel discussion will explore the importance of social-emotional health for gifted and talented students, and how we can build strong communities that support their well-being. We will hear from experts on gifted education, mental health, and social-emotional learning. Attendees will leave with:
• An understanding of the unique social-emotional needs of gifted and talented students
• Strategies for supporting gifted and talented students' social-emotional development
• Ideas on how to create inclusive and supportive communities for gifted and talented students
