Kenneth Wright is a doctoral student in educational psychology at the University of Connecticut with a focus on advanced academics and talent development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in social science teaching, a Master’s degree in school counseling, and an endorsement in gifted and talented education. During his sixteen years as a classroom teacher, he taught history, geography, theater, psychology, and English. He has worked extensively in student leadership, counseling at-risk teens, and in the performing arts. He is the author of three picture books and travels to schools across the United States speaking to young students about the importance of creativity and curiosity.
