Head of the Academic Department of Psychology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), Editor-in-Chief of Gifted & Talented International. She started the Research Group “Creativity, Technology, and Talent Development” at the PUCP, and was instrumental in the development of the scientific model for the Academy of Arts and Science for the Highly Able coming from poverty conditions in Peru. She has been recognized with the Innovation Award in College Teaching, as well as with the PUCP Research Award since 2013 until now. On a Peruvian National basis, she has received several recognitions from the Colegio de Psicólogos del Perú [Peruvian Psychological Association] in the areas of Scientific Publishing (2008), Educational Psychology (2010), and Life-career in teaching and research in Educational Psychology (2014). Internationally, she has been awarded the World Bank/GDN Award for Young Scientist in Applied Education (2005), the Belin-Blank/Templeton International Fellowship on Gifted Education (2008), and the Eisenhower Fellowships (EF, 2011). She is also a member of ECHA, IRATDE, and WCGTC, and was invited as keynote to the “Cutting-edge research on talent development” Summit, organized by IRATDE and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg on 2015. Chair of the 35th Inter-American Conference of Psychology, she is invited keynote at international conferences, and has been invited professor at the following universities: Universidade de Brasilia, Universidade Catolica de Brasilia, Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO)-Chile, Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja-Ecuador, Universidad Complutense de Madrid-Spain, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid-Spain, Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen-The Netherlands, and Harvard University/School of Education-USA.
