Chandra B. Floyd is assistant professor of gifted education at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. Dr. Floyd is a career educator with over 20 years in PK12 public schools where she served as an English teacher, a resource teacher for the gifted and talented, and an administrator for gifted programs. She earned her Doctorate from William & Mary in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership with a concentration in Gifted Education Administration. She has received several awards including the 2018 Christopher Wren Association Scholarship at William & Mary and is a 2021 recipient of the NAGC Research and Evaluation Dissertation Award.
