I am a current doctorate student at Ball State University studying Educational Psychology. My research right now is focused on twice exceptional students. I am broadly interested in improving the educational experiences of students from marginalized backgrounds. I believe the public school system is set up to benefit a minimum number of students and by studying the students it is not benefitting, we can start to find ways to bridge the gap. I enjoy using qualitative research methodologies to give these students a voice, as they often have the voices that are not being heard.
