Robin K. Rector

Gifted Teacher
Petal School District, Mississippi

Robin has been teaching elementary school for twenty-five years and has taught first - sixth grade and currently teaches fifth and sixth grade gifted classes at Petal Upper Elementary School. She has also coached Archery for over ten years.
She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she graduated in May of 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She received an endorsement for Gifted Education from the University of Mississippi in 2007 and graduated from Arkansas State University in 2012 with a Master's degree in Gifted Education. While attending ASU, she was invited and joined the Golden Key International Honour Society. Robin is also a licensed School Psychometrist.
Robin has been nominated and received numerous awards throughout her career including: Teacher of the Year (in 2 seperate school districts) and the AIMS Highpoint Award.
