Natasha Langjahr Straayer, M.Ed. has served in the field of gifted education for over twenty five years. Her range of experience includes teaching at the secondary level, acting as a literacy and gifted programming interventionist, and facilitating Gifted Education, English Language Devlopment, and Literacy Interventions at the school and district levels. She currently serves as the Director of Advanced Academics and Gifted Programming for Douglas County School District in Colorado. Ms. Straayer holds degrees in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Denver, Denver, CO; Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA; and English Literature and Education from Bradley University, Peoria, IL.
