David has been training school counselors to work with gifted students for 18 years at the University of Iowa. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education at the UI. He has been involved with research that examines the career development interests and decision making process for gifted minority students. David serves on the editorial boards for The Career Development Quarterly and the Professional School Counseling journals.
