Christine L. Weber, Ph.D., is a professor of Childhood Education, Literacy, and TESOL at the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville. She has been a member of the Editorial Review Board for Gifted Child Today since 1998. Dr. Weber has published numerous articles and presented at state, national, and international conferences. She has served as the Representative Assembly for CEC-TAG and Chair of the NAGC Professional Learning Network. Her recent books with coauthors Cecelia Boswell and Wendy Behrens include Differentiating Instruction for Gifted Learners: A Case Studies Approach and Exploring Critical Issues in Gifted Education: A Case Studies Approach. She has recently co-edited a series of NAGC books related to professional learning with Angela Novak including Best Practices in Professional Learning and Teacher Preparation (Vol. 1): Methods and Strategies for Gifted Professional Development; Best Practices in Professional Learning and Teacher Preparation (Vol. 2): Special Topics for Gifted Professional Development; and Best Practices in Professional Learning and Teacher Preparation (Vol. 3): Professional Development for Teachers of the Gifted in the Content Areas. She is currently working on the NAGC LEAP Education Project develping the first guidebook and set of modules on curriculum design with Emily Mofield.
