Yvette R. Robinson, M. A. Ed., is CEO & Founder of Xavier House Unlimited, Inc., the first foster group home that will identify and care for foster youth who demonstrate behaviors consistent with high intelligence. She has worked in child welfare for over 20 years. Yvette has additionally launched Callisto Professional Development Services, LLC, which provides professional development on the needs of gifted children to foster parents, case workers and other child welfare professionals. Yvette has a master’s degree in the education of at-risk youth. She has presented at national gifted advocacy conferences and advocated for the needs of gifted children on Capitol Hill. Yvette has collaborated with nationally and internationally recognized gifted researchers to develop best practices to identify and serve high-intelligence youth in the foster care system.
