I have been a special educator for 22 years in both Texas and New Mexico. Upon moving to New Mexico, I was offered the chance to work not only with students with learning difficulties, but also gifted students as a teacher and advocate for those who need help making their voices heard. In my current position, I am fortunate to be able to continue to help students and now teachers of both gifted and students who need extra assistance. We are all learning different which needs to be embraced.
