Nikki Myers has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Gifted Education. She began working with the AcademyaCL founding team in fall 2008, with the first school year in August 2010. She enjoys presenting workshops and trainings related to the needs of gifted students.
As a parent, family member, and teacher of many gifted people, she has been committed to supporting the needs of gifted children, their families, and the educators who work with them. She and her husband Dave have raised gifted and twice-exceptional children, and parenthood has brought many new experiences related to family life, the social-emotional needs of gifted children and families, and the responsiveness of the school systems to support unique needs. She is passionate about the importance of early recognition and support for young gifted children continuing throughout their school careers.
