Gifted Testing Specialist
Virginia Beach City Public Schools, Virginia

Ms. Cerja is a gifted testing specialist in the K-12 Department of Teaching and Learning in the Office of Gifted Programs in Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS). Ms. Cerja is a 30-year verteran educator with the last 19 years teaching within the gifted education realm. Ms. Cerja was a gifted middle school ediucator in North Carolina and Georgia prior to relocating to Virginia. She has presented at conferences on the local, regional, national, and world levels. She is passionate about equity, scholar advocacy and social-emotional learning in and out of the educational environment. Ms. Cerja is obtaining her doctoral degree in Advanced Educational Leadership from Regent University. She has four children and resides in Virginia Beach.
