Paula McGuire is the Gifted Education Regional Consultant for Northeast Colorado, a dual role that serves both the thirteen rural school districts in the corner of the state as well as the Colorado Department of Education. She received her M.A. in Gifted Education from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition, Paula serves as the Legislative Chair for the Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented (CAGT). She has spent her career developing programs for rural gifted students, educating administrators and educators alike on gifted student needs and best practices in gifted education, and advocating for the needs of gifted students in Colorado.
