District Traditional, Accelerated, and Gifted Coach (TAG Coach)
Gilbert Public Schools, Arizona
Sarah Erhart has spent 13 years in the world of elementary education. She started her career as a 5th grade teacher. She found her passion for teaching primary students in 1st grade. When teaching first grade she was the cluster teacher for the grade level. This is where she realized her passion for teaching gifted children. Each year she learned new techniques and ways to reach her gifted students through differentiation. After teaching, she became an instructional coach for four years on a campus with over 100 gifted students before coaching teachers on two separate campuses to improve instruction. She also worked with her cluster teachers to help with differentiation in their classrooms. Sarah is now the district traditional, accelerated, and gifted (TAG) coach. She works closely with Lisa Creaser, the district Coordinator of Gifted Education, on designing and providing professional development for teachers throughout the district. She also supports gifted teachers throughout the district by co-planning, co-teaching, and modeling. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Educational Leadership. When not at work, she loves to hang out with her family and friends, bake, and vacation on a beach or cruise.
