Emily is currently an Intermediate Elementary Core Teacher at Acera School in Winchester, MA. She has been in education for over ten years teaching in both public and independent schools in Massachusetts and Colorado. Her passions in education include literacy, project based learning, differentiation and social-emotional learning. Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Merrimack College, a Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy from Lesley University, and is currently pursuing her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership at Merrimack College. She is also a Consulting Teacher for Responsive Classroom. When she is not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, trying new restaurants, and being as active as she can be outside!
