Jessica Kennedy, Gifted Endorsement (she/her/hers)

Gifted Young Scholars 6th Grade Science Teacher
Henrico County Public Schools, Virginia

Jessica Kennedy is a gifted educator in Henrico County. She is a founding teacher at the Gifted Scholars Academy (GYSA) at Wilder Middle School and serves as Lead Teacher and Department Chair. Jessica has taught at both the elementary and middle school level for 16 years. Through her years in Henrico County, she has served in many capacities, including as an inaugural member of the Coalition for Equitable and Inclusive Schools, twice representing Henrico County at the Annual Visible Learning conference, and remains passionate about equity in education. Jessica is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond.
