Cyndi Herron, M.S., NBCT
Cyndi Herron is the director of teaching and learning (as well as the acting head of the middle school) at Seattle Country Day School, an institution that serves gifted students, grades K–8. Cyndi received a B.A. in education and an M.S. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has more than 30 years’ experience in K–8 education, having held roles as a classroom teacher, a curriculum developer and administrator, a field director for the Network to Transform Teaching, a project facilitator for teacher induction and national board certification, and an educational consultant. In all her work, Cyndi brings a passion for student advocacy as well as for teachers’ curricular growth and development.
