A PhD. student in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Gifted and Talented Education at the University of North Texas. Yuyang holds a master of science degree in education focusing on Creative and Innovative Education from Johns Hopkins University. Her research focuses on educational equity, immigrant generations, emergent bilinguals, social-emotional needs, and cross-cultural connections of gifted racially and ethnically diverse students.
