Sarena Gray (she/her) is a Diné woman from Lukachukai, AZ, on the Navajo Nation. She received a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from Brown University in 2018 and is currently in her second year in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies department at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on Indigenous Higher Education. As a critical Indigenous youth worker and educator, she has experience engaging high ability youth in community development, recreation, and enrichment within formal and informal educational spaces. Her research interests focus on Indigenous futurities, identity, and relationality, specifically within the contexts of youth work, higher education, and gifted education.
