Allen Hays is an instructor in Teacher Education and director of the Delta STEM Education Center at Arkansas State University. He received his MSE in Educational Leadership through Arkansas State University and is currently working on his EdD in Educational Technology at Boise State University. His work includes teacher professional development, school/community outreach, and grant writing for school districts throughout Eastern Arkansas. Mr. Hays started at Arkansas State University in 2017 as an instructor in Teacher Education. Before starting his current position, he taught secondary science at a high school. He strives to incorporate project-based learning, making, STEM, and other areas of educational technology into all the courses he teaches. His research interests are Makerspace, STEM, artificial technology, and virtual learning.
