Dr. Erinn Fears Floyd, CEO and Founder of Equity and Excellence in Education, LLC, and Director of Training and Partnership Development for The Consortium for Inclusion of Underrepresented Racial Groups in Gifted Education (I-URGGE), provides culturally relevant professional learning, advocacy, and academic support for educators, organizations, parents, and students. Former Director of Professional Learning for the National Association for Gifted Children and State Director of Gifted Education for the Alabama Department of Education, Dr. Floyd has served over 31 years as classroom teacher, school administrator, and district coordinator, and has published several articles and book chapters. Dr. Floyd is an inaugural recipient of the NAGC Dr. Mary Frasier Teacher Scholarship for Diverse Talent Development and the 2021 Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Author Contribution. In 2022, Dr. Floyd received the Dr. Alexinia Baldwin Gifted & Special Populations Award. She and her husband are the proud parents of two gifted children, a son, (17) and daughter (13).
