Dr. Marites Meladis is a National Board-Certified teacher with over 29 years of experience both here and abroad. A National Board Mentor teacher for Prince George’s County Public School mentoring her peers to promote school improvement, improve student learning, and develop accomplished teachers through collaborative learning communities. She was a co-presenter at the Maryland Educators of Gifted Students (MEGS) for 3 consecutive years from 2019 to 2022 on topics that showcased enriched opportunities for growth with authentic projects using advanced curriculum and challenging instruction. The recipient of the MEGGY Award in 2020 for being an Outstanding Educator in Gifted and Talented Education- Teacher as Leader. An awardee for the Excellence in Education in 2018 in the city of Bowie, in Maryland.
