Stephanie Gutscher is an enthusiastic educator with 9 years of hands-on experience. Earning her BS in Middle School Education from Stevenson University in 2015, the central Maryland native returned to the area to teach 6th grade RELA at Thomas Johnson Middle School. In 2020, Stephanie finished her MS in Education from The University of Kansas while transitioning to Benjamin Tasker Middle School to teach 7th grade RELA/TAG. Specializing in reading and social studies, she has taught RELA to a variety of students including Honors, special education, ESOL/ML, Talented and Gifted, and Twice Exceptional. Stephanie is not only a current PGCPS Middle Grades RELA curriculum writer but is also close to completing a second MS in Educational Leadership at McDaniel College. Her attentiveness to student needs and ability to provide rigorous instruction is inspiring to students, colleagues, and community members. Stephanie is committed to ensuring the next generation is full of talented leaders, bound to be difference-makers.
