Bonnie Taylor, Master of Education in Educational Leadership (she/her/hers)

Gifted Magnet Coordinator
Pinellas County Public Schools , Florida

Bonnie (Beth) is a Florida local, but an Alabama native. She has worked in several public school districts, private schools and even homeschooled for a while. Her interests led her to the field of gifted education. Over her career spanning more than 18 years, she has mentored new teachers, written curriculum for classroom and summer program instruction for both general education and gifted education students, developed systems to better support families and trained hundreds of teachers.
A common theme for Beth is building relational capacity and social emotional support for students, families and staff. Understanding that our gifted students have rich inner lives, she works to open avenues for conversation and creating a sense of belonging for all.
Beth currently works with Pinellas County Public Schools, supporting two full-time gifted magnet programs.
In her spare time, Beth loves to read, watch documentaries, listen to interesting podcasts, garden, go to the beach and spend time with her family and her English Bulldog, Mac.
