I currently hold the position of Gifted Education Specialist for the Alabama State Department of Education. Previously, I served as a Talent Development teacher in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system, Charlotte, North Carolina and gifted specialist in Alabama for twelve years. I hold a Masters in Gifted Education from the University of Alabama and National Board Certification in the Gifted pathway. When not working, I enjoy reading, gardening, visiting beaches and mountain areas and stand-up paddleboarding.
