Gifted Educator and Differentiation Coach

Jennifer Holt is an innovative and passionate educator who thrives on engaging gifted learners with meaningful learning experiences. She adores seeing the lightbulb go off as her students think deeply and critically, and she thrives on sharing ideas to coach fellow teachers to do the same. She holds a B.A. in English and History from Duke University and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education with Gifted Training from Peabody at Vanderbilt University. She has taught general and gifted education for over twenty years in Williamson County Schools, TN. Jennifer has presented professional development at the school, district, state, and world conference levels. She has won several awards in her teaching career, including the Tennessee Association for the Gifted curriculum award (2014), the SENG Honor Roll (2011), and Elementary School Teacher of the Year at both school and county level (2015). She has also taught several very popular SAVY classes through Vanderbilt's Programs for Talented Youth since its inception. She is currently serving on the Lipscomb University Gifted Education Advisory Board and teaches the TN Gifted Employment Standard for Vanderbilt University.
