Heather Danforth-Clayson is a regular presenter at conferences focusing on problem-based mathematics and the needs of gifted learners, such as NAGC's annual convention, MidSchoolMath, and the National Inquiry-Based Learning Conference. She has taught students, coached teachers, and developed curriculum at a variety of locations around the U.S. and the world. She is a recipient of the Rosenthal Prize for Innovation and Inspiration in Mathematics Teaching and has been recognized as an Exemplary STEM Educator by the 100Kin10 organization. She is passionate about meeting the needs of gifted learners and bringing problem solving, creativity, and joy to mathematics instruction for all students.
