Ann is currently the Coordinator for Gifted Education and Talent Development for Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools, a suburban school division in southeastern Virginia. Prior to her current position, she dedicated 18 years to instructing gifted students, two years as a high school Improvement Specialist, and four years as a high school and elementary school Assistant Principal. Her research areas of interest include the motivation of gifted learners, talent development, and student engagement. In addition to her K-12 work, Ann has taught the Gifted Curriculum course, EPPL 612, at The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, as an adjunct professor.
