Alethea Setser has 28 years of experience in education in grades 4K through college. She has degrees in Elementary Education, Math, Gifted Education, and Educational Leadership. She is currently a gifted & talented teacher in South Carolina while pursuing her doctorate in Educational Practice & Innovation from the University of South Carolina. She is a national ambassador and regular webinar presenter for UBTech Education Robotics as well as a facilitator for graduate literacy courses and educational consultant for SCETV. She has presented at the Regional Gifted Conference, District Innovation Summit, Citadel Academic Excellence Day, and the SCEPUR (SC Educators for the Practical Use of Research) conference. Alethea has a passion for grant writing to explore the most innovative practices for gifted students.
