Laura H. Dills is the Executive Director of Federal Programs and Elementary Education for Jackson County Public Schools in North Carolina. She serves as the District Coordinator for the Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) program in JCPS. Laura holds a Masters Degree in School Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University. She holds a North Carolina teaching license with the certification areas of K-12 Principal, K-12 Academically and Intellectually Gifted Education, K-6 Elementary Education, and 6-9 Middle Grade Mathematics. She also holds National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist. Laura serves as the Vice President of the North Carolina Federal Education Program Administrators. She is passionate about providing opportunities for students from all backgrounds in academically gifted programming. Laura and her husband, Frankie, enjoy traveling and planning their next adventure with their son, Rory, a cystic fibrosis fighter!
